Conexus Credit Union announces sale of Century 21 Conexus Realty Ltd
An agreement for the sale of the Moose Jaw Century 21 Conexus Realty Ltd. is currently being negotiated while the three real estate offices in Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert will be a new owner from Friday.
Ken Shaw, Interim CEO of Conexus, said if a sale does not go forward in Moose Jaw, the board of directors will consider other options before deciding how to proceed.
"There are options, but the preference is to have a local realtor to buy it so they know the area and the community and that's what happened in the other three areas.
"We sell them (the franchisees) as a sale of transfer so that employees are a necessary part of the transaction for it to succeed so we treat our employees with respect and fairness.
"With other options, this process will be respected, whatever happens and whatever method we use.
"But at this point is speculation and we still hope to sell it in a manner similar to the other three," he said. "We are in discussions to Moose Jaw and there are two that I know off ".
