Searsport Fireworks a Unique Light & Sound Show - Wharf View

The police did a great job of maintaining the flow of traffic and pedestrians safe and effective, including opening the way for an ambulance to pass through crowded downtown before the fireworks. Due to the thick fog, a police officer suggested to the many spectators gathered on the platform they travel to Mosman Park for better viewing of the fireworks. Many have responded to the idea, while the majority chose to stay. Visibility seemed to be improving the bank just before the event began.It was short-lived, however, the fog became more dense than the fireworks grew.

It was perhaps the smallest ever to Searsport night as fireworks took place, but that provided a backdrop for a unique sound and light show. The habit of confetti-like spray of fireworks were mostly obscured the view of the dock, but the hazy sky was lit up with bright colors of individual red, pink, purple, orange, yellow, white or green. The beautiful color on the sky from Mosman Park, was reflected on the harbor and the rocky coast expansive, exposed by low tide.And the fog could not appease the shot, as their tremendous explosion that seemed even stronger through the tiny droplets of water entering the air. Rapid succession of explosions cheers and applause from the audience.
